Let's all ask our recruits tomorrow when they call if the whole div passed, that way the first one to get a call can post on here that the whole div passed and we can start relieving our stress level.........LOL I know they will do great too!!

Congrats to the new sailors!! This is so exciting - at times it feels like it has been such a long journey, but other moments so fast. Gonna miss this group. TEARS - TEARS. Couldn't have done this without you all!!!

Exactly. Which is why I changed my airline tickets from tomorrow to Thursday. In the event my daughter did not pass, I did not want to already be in Great Lakes! Would rather wait for the call and have to change my tickets to reflect the new PIR date, rather than assume she will pass, get to Great Lakes only to find out she didn't! I originally thought she would PIR a week earlier when I originally made my travel plans. This cutting it close thing has been a bit stressful for me! I have all the confidence in the world she will do just fine, and so does she as she stated when I spoke to her on Thanksgiving. But, anything can happen!

That is my understanding also. So the recruits going tonight and tomorrow night would not have enough time left to redo BS to graduate on time.
Comment by pray4peace Ship 03 Div 017 on November 30, 2010 at 5:20pm
Yes. It is my understanding they are allowed no more than three "hits" during the 12 hours. If they receive more than that, they are removed from BS but can rejoin another division after 48 hours of rest to try it again. Those hits are per recruit, not per the division. They get hits if they do something incorrectly. Again, that is all my understanding. Anyone else can certainly chime in and correct me if I am wrong. Of course, if they are injured during BS, they would be sent back if they could not continue on.

Is there a way a recruit would not pass. I so can't wait for our call
