also, this was posted in response to the photos....
"U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command Unfortunately, the Captain's Cup is not something that is regularly photographed by RTC staff as the event takes place outside of normal business hours. The photos of the July 17 Capatain's Cup were the result of a special photo assignment."

This little tid bit was on the NRTC fb page from 4 months ago..they posted pics back then from the CC..i wonder with the holiday weekend maybe the people that maintain that sort of thing are on leave??? anyway here is what they posted
"Each weekend prior to graduation, divisions at Recruit Training Command participate in a friendly sports competition called the Captain’s Cup. Events include volleyball, basketball, softball toss, shuttle runs and a relay race. One of the highlights of the event is the competitive chant/routine that each division has one minute to perform and is judged by the Recruit Division Commanders. During all the events, the exuberant recruits show their pride as they shout out encouragement to their divisions. The overall winning division in the all-male divisions and the integrated divisions win the RTC Olympic flag that they will carry during the graduation ceremony. A winning division is also awarded with a trophy for having the best chant."
