NukeMom: They have many chores to do after they become sailors, and sometimes PIR practice before they can make the I'm a Sailor calls. Yes, your advice is great about having phones handy all day...have the phones in your bras if necessary so you don't miss THE CALL!
Comment by diannep on November 28, 2010 at 9:04am
navbarbe: BattleStations is overnight and they are "capped" in the early morning...and are sailors. The calls usually start about 2 pm GL time and can go for a few hours. With 4 divisions going through tonight, the calls won't be quite as long and will take longer to all be received. If someone doesn't receive a call, don't panic. Your sailor could have had watch and missed the time to call. The call most likely will come the next day. Please ask your sailor if all in his/her division passed and post for others who have not received calls yet. They will usually only know about their own division.

navbarbe - my son has BS tomorrow also...he said to expect call around 4p central time on tuesday. I would just make sure you have phone all day long on Tuesday. It is my understanding they start in the evening around 8p and it goes until 8a, so not sure why the calls would come that late. Maybe someone from Div 009 or Div 010 can share when they got their calls.
