Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by Sherri_M on November 28, 2010 at 12:55am: Hey all, michael called us too, then went to get on the computer to order his brother a very special Christmas gift...I thought that was super sweet....he said they sucked at CC!!! He played Volleyball, they played for a total of 5 mins, got in like 2 or 3 serves....and whoever was winning at the time, won the match....the other team was winning, so....but that was just the one sport, but he said it was that way with them all..
I thought he told me div 18 won integrated CC, but maybe it was 17? no one knows for sure yet??? weird! i posted pics on my page of my boy when he was adopted.
Oh, he was telling me what he'll be doing next week...teaching new recruits to march, getting a hair cut, blood drive--but he can't give cause he was out of the country in Sept, and PIR. It shocked me he said PIR, maybe he used it cause that's what I write in my letters...thought it was strange once I saw all of your comments about the guys and gals saying DEC 3....
Can't wait!!!
