ATTENTION, If there is a Barbara here who has a son on Ship 9, Div. 014, I helped feed your son Thanksgiving dinner at the VFW in Villa Park today. What an incredible young man!! He had a great time and good food. Pat

I got to talk to my sailor twice today for a long time! He went with another sailor to an aunt's house. I don't know if that other sailor's mom is on here but they went to IN. I spoke with the other sailors aunt and Thank her for welcoming my son in her home! He also left us several messages on FB. Happy day!!

Proud to be A's mom. I was told you can order on PIR day. Your Daughter has to be with you. They have to order I think but you can do it the day of. I know any of my daughters would not get pictures it they could not wear makeup. It is a girl thing. But you are still going to want something to remember of the day.

tremontmom Oh yea! It's already on my FaceBook page and e-mailed to my sister. I'm starting to pack for next week. My sister from Houston has found hers, but I still need to find the boots though. My son said that it is not supposed to snow next week, but is going to be extremely cold. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr from this Southern Girl. Well worth it though.

Proud to be A's mom Ship 3Div17 ...I thought you could buy one on PIR. I thought someone said that previously, just like you have that day only to order a Keel and a dvd. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
Lou2..you are welcome! I am glad you found your son in the pict...what a rush that was huh?!

Thank you so much tremontmom for the link. I found my son in one!!! He looks great. When he called yesterday, he said that he has lost 3 lbs so his face is a little thin again. But still GREAT to see him!!!! I pray that everyone on here is having a wonderful Thanksgiving and have been able to speak or "see" their Sailors.
