Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We were also able to talk to our son today! A local church took a bunch of the boys in and gave them a wonderful meal and a relaxing day! He said that Verizon provided phones for them to be able to call home on! That is so awesome!

I talked with my son a little while ago. Sounded much better after 10 hours of sleep following BS. Most certainly happy to be out and about!

Redchaos -- it is on the "form" letter you received right after the SR arrived at BC. I'm glad someone on here reminded me of that because I had completely forgotten.

I've talked to my son twice today already. He was adopted by another recruits sister...they are hanging out in a hotel room for now. He has called us, his girlfriend, all grandparents....he is so excited to have a little freedom for the day. Thank Dawn!!!! I owe you!!!

WOW.. the calls are comin in now...just spoke to my daughter also..at the museum for dinner...she sounded GREAT... God Bless and thanks to all the local civic org. that give so our recruits can have a nice day..and make so many moms happy happy happy... she passed her final PFA, 3rd acedemic test is 11/29 for div 17 as well as 2nd and final drill, one other thing she couldnt remember... then BS21 on tues...YAY...

Happy Thanksgiving - I just got a call from my daughter!!! IT MADE MY DAY!!!! I hope all families get a call today :-) Good luck on Battle Stations for Div 14 and all other Div's on Monday. The kids have a day to relax today (YEAH!!! Well earned)

Ladies..my son just called, They took a bunch of recruits to the local VFW for turkey dinner and they get to watch football. My son sounded great and ready for battlestations next week. God Bless all of you this Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for that our sons and daughters have made it this far and are serving our great country. Tears in the turkey for sure today but they are happy tears
