I just checked the 10 day weather forecast for Chicago. It looks as if we lucked out...NO SNOW predicted through 12/3/10. Temps in the low 40's...brrrr.

Hi All, Rainy & overcast this am...Yuck. Packing this am to leave for Chicago today. I wanted to leave early this am to avoid the holiday traffic, but currently on call for work. Hopefully, they'll just let me off at 1100 so we can get started on the 4 hr drive. I haven't seen anything about the 2 divs that went through BS 21 last night. I know they did a great job!

diannep: Yep, early for CA girl! There are lots of things going on here for me, step-dad recently in nsg home and mom in hospital since Fri...so I coldn't turn head off. But the bright side of my world in my recruit...soon to be sailor. Thanks for the sailor call info...I have my DDS this a.m. and doctor's calls I'm waiting for, so the info really helped me map my day out a little less stressfully! I'll be waiting at the phone like a puppy waiting for its master to come home! Tail waggin' and all!!! Ya'll have a fabulous Wednesday!!! And Happy Turkey Day to Everyone!!!
