For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Does anyone know if we pick up the already ordered shirts there or will they come in the mail? Just wondering if I should be looking for them or how that is handled. I too was going to order. Good luck to DIV 9 and 10!!! Can't wait to see the "i'm a Sailor" calls being posted.

I've already discussed it with his grandparents and they are gonna make sure he calls us!! Thanks!

Poseidon sportswear I faxed mine to them (972)347-6658 or call them at (972)347-6655 email is NavyTees@gmail.com. They say they sell them after PIR but the sizes get picked over. I hope that helps you

Also glad that I'm not the only not able to print the parking pass.

Also need some advice. If it is snowing my sister wants to forego the car for taxi. We're staying in Gurnee. I don't like the idea of being stuck without a car. I like to do a "drive by" to get the feel of where everything is. What do y'all think?
