Sometimes the names on the div flags are the n.ames of those who designed the flag. I am happy that your ribbons are making you smile :-)

@Abbe'sMom - duhhh..forgot yours was different division. Sorry! Sometimes I am just brain dead. Maybe it is peoples names...it looked like Greek to me. LOL

hi everyone! Can you believe the first 2 div do BS tomorrow!! Yay!! I was going to put the blue candle on in the morning before work, but now Im thinking maybe waiting till I get home...should be by 5pm...I have my blue lights ready...going to decorate my office tomorrow with blue Christmas lights, the lighted candles that are the plug in kind you find at Christmas--with blue lights in them, wearing a blue ribbon--yep I'm excited! Work has really been supporting me on this--of course I made Michael work there for 3 months before leaving for BC---so they know and love him too, so doing the whole blue thing there as well!!!!
anyway.... GOOD LUCK TO DIV 09 and DIV 10 tomorrow night!! We'll all be thinking of you!!!!

NukeMom-each div creates their own flag design so ours would be different. But there was writing on ours also-peoples names, but I did not know if the names were SRs or RDCs.

Got my ribbons today...they are awesome!! Thanks LaLa, you are the Ribbon Queen.
Good luck to Div 009 and 010 tomorrow for BS. I expect to see lots of posts on Wednesday saying they got their "i'm a sailor" call. WhoooHooo!
Can't wait for Thanksgiving so I can talk to my son.
@Abbe'sMom - do you know what all the writing is on the bottom of the flag? I got mine the other day and I don't understand it. I guess my son will have to explain. Not sure if we can post picture.

Got my ribbons today. They are so awesome!! Havent told my daughter about them I want her to feel how proud we are when she sees us all wearing them. Cant wait!! It has been a tough several weeks for the guys and girls and I am soooo proud of each and everyone of them! Good luck to ALL on BS-21.

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately no our learner's permits do not have a picture and for her to go get just a photo ID she needs her social security card, a real catch 22. I told her she has a little over a week to tear her house apart and find it. Thinking good thoughts and sending them everybody's way for success during BS 21.
