The meet and greet is in a bar like area but it is early during the meet and greet and I would say most everyone in there is there for the meet and greet. Lots of families with lil kids, even babies will be there. To me, it didn't really feel like a bar, more like an office party or wedding reception with lots of people and a bar to order drinks. I took 2 teenagers with me. :-)

racin27mom: Sometimes the Ramada lets the MeetNGreet group have a meeting room to meet in rather than the bar. Bring them if they would like to come.

Hey ladies...I'm bringing my younger ones to the M &G...well, I guess only my 13 year old...my 12 year old is staying with gma and gpa here in TN....but my daughter wouldn't miss if for anything!

Can you believe it....at this time in 2 weeks, we'll have been through PIR and been loving on our recruits....SAILORS at that time!! Can't wait!!!!!

Thanks diannep. I think that I'm going to do blue bulbs instead of candles. One of my greatest fears in setting the house in fire. With the bulbs I can rotate them so one will always be burning. Again, don't want to burn the house down.

Julie I completely understand. I would be completely lost without my best friend and church family. They've praying from the very beginning and they will not ever stop.

Julie...my friends say the same thing "Oh wow...it's been six weeks already" I'm like...yeah..it's like being in labor for six weeks!!

Lou2: Some burn the candles during the entire BStations days...in fact, most do. Some may just burn for the night their division goes through. So whatever you want to do! Please...just don't burn the house down! :-) So neat the you have people wanting to burn candles in honor of Nate going through. That's great!

racin27mom: Yes yes yes! Bring the whole family to the MeetNGreet!

My son wrote that for desert, (on holiday) the guys are served Snickers ice cream bars or M&M double doozie ice crean things - everyone except their division "because we have discipline." I don't knowif he means the RDC says they are "strong" enough to stay away from ice cream OR they are BEING disciplined!!! Says he wants one sooo bad. "Can't we just have some ice cream?!"

Also - that their division has won a flag for everything possible and he couldn't care less --- he just wants outta there! :)
