michellex2,

Glad you got a written response from Delta, now here's hoping their actual procedures will involve uniform, quick processing of our wonderful Navy Sailors and their loving guests at all airports week after week!!

CstMom and diannep- just wanted to let you know that Delta has responded to my formal complaint about our experience at Midway while trying to obtain family gate passes. I am hopeful that they will streamline their process and revise their policies so no one has to go through the excessive wait they made us go through that day. I will keep you posted!

MstD85,

That's a sweet tree!!  I can see fiber optics on the branches.  We got one of those for our youngest daughter too.  The fiber optics change color.  I like your star tree topper.  I need a new lightweight one.  The ones we have are for when we have a real noble fir~~

Had no idea squirrels will eat a fake tree and ornaments!

What a cute idea for an Advent Calendar also~~

nice silver tree.  I have tossed our tree into the garage for the last 30 years,  This last year my husband convinced me to wrap it and store it in the attic.  Well, last summer the squirrel's decided our attic would make a wonderful home and they ate my tree and most of the ornaments.  So here is our new tree that I put up for our 9 year old son.  The numbered boxes are the empty ones from his Advent calendar.

michellex2,

Thanks for coming on to help!  Thinking these gals will be back here when it gets closer to their PIR~~

Comment by michellex2 on December 11, 2014 at 12:42pm

This group is really quiet! I added it to my groups in case anyone had any questions about this being a Wed PIR like Thanksgiving and figured I could offer some advice if needed.
