Good Morning! I know that we are all excited, anxious, proud...the list goes on to see our Seaman Recruits graduate on December 31. I was wondering how many of you are attending Sarge's Meet & Greet on the 30th. It would be great to meet and get acquainted with the families of the men who went through this challenge with my son (Div 47).

I will be there! My son is in Div 048. They are brother divisions!

My husband and I will be there, our son is in Div 047 as well!  Can't wait, I'm getting more and more excited as it gets closer!

I will be there my son is in Div 048. It's getting so close

I will be there. My son is in Div.046.

Any idea what might be fun to do on new years eve?

We're staying at the Navy Lodge. I called and they don't have anything going on there, but I would think that the local chain hotels would have festivities going on. There are a few bowling alleys within 20-30 miles of the base, too. Our oldest son will be with us and he is going to downtown Chicago with friends. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe our sons have to be back to the base well before midnight :(

we will be at the Navy Lodge too !!

We are planning on being there ... Son is in division 048
We are attending, there will be 6 of us total. My son is in division 052. It's getting closer and closer! We are so excited! I have read and heard conflicting info, if our sailor is staying for A school, can we keep him the whole weekend or do we have to return him to base every night? Hoping for the latter so we can really enjoy Chicago!!

Our son is staying at Great Lakes for A school and has told us that he will have liberty through Sunday, but has to be back to the base each night. We are planning some Chicago time :)

Thank you. That's what I had thought but was hoping otherwise!
We are going, my son is division 050.
