Sherry, has Matthew been on hold all this time in Great Lakes? I guess he probably has. Poor guy was probably bored out of his mind. Thanks for letting us know. Don't be such a stranger.

Hey there everybody....if anybody has any earthly idea how to get the PIR video loaded here on the N4M site please do. I can't figure out how to do it and I know there were some parents, spouses, etc. that couldn't go and would love to see it. If anybody can get that done please post it here that you got it on and under what title it is. I keep checking PIR 1/30/09 and there isn't anything as yet.

Thanks Gail. Dang, he does have a lot of schooling. For IT schooling Justin will be done (expected) the end of April-so about 2 months.

Now, think about this.....you cannot get that schooling that quickly in the civilian world. Isn't that great!

The last 2 days Justin has been being 'checked out' quite a bit. 3 of his friends and our neighbor/friend have all been interviewed. So it must be getting down to the wire on that issue.

Beth, thanks and yes, you are so right. One more test before he's out of the woods, right?

Wonderful news Beth. It has been a great day for 2 of us, that I now know of. I took my state final exam today to become an Insurance agent for a company that hired me. It took 70% to pass. You talk about divine intervention, I got 70.7%. Boy wasn't God sitting on my shoulder too. Like my uncle always used to say.....Life is guuud!

Fantastic Joanne. I'm glad he finally got started. Yes, Corry Station is sooooo much different than the Naval Air Station. Justin is on Flag Corps but I don't think he had to try out for it. I'm sure it's because it's so much smaller over there. His classes got switched again yesterday. He's now 7am-3pm (he was 6pm-1am). Because of the switch so he wouldn't be back to back they gave him Tuesday completely off.

FYI to those that aren't aware....our sailors do get their taxes done for free on base. Justin had his done yesterday. He was happy because he's getting $306 back. That's not bad since he only worked til about March then, of course, bootcamp in December. He said it would've cost him $75. Dear ole mom (me) usually does his taxes on Turbo Tax but I told him to go ahead and have them do it because I didn't know about the whole kid out of the house and military stuff.

Prayers still flowing for Michael and Josie and those that must pass their tests today.

No need to be sorry, Beth, that's what makes N4M great. I think I said it before but it seems that those kids that were/are honors in school are the hardest on themselves-that's probably what makes them strive to be the very best. Justin was always like that and always tested at the top of the class. Now his 2 sisters are the very same way. I think (no-scratch that) I know he'll do outstanding. It's great that he keeps in contact with you for the needed support (who better can do that than mom?!)

Thanks, Beth.

It's funny my husband and I looked at the Keel and could only find our son in 1 of the group pictures. But one of our daughters found Justin in several-she found the top of his head peeking over, one eye peeking over, etc. I'm surprised she didn't find her brothers hand. I told her I had no clue how she could pick those out and she said "I know my brother" and she's right it was his pictures.
