This used to be a busy group. Hope everyone is doing well. Brian is stationed at Kings Bay in Georgia now. Tammy and have retired and moved from CA and now live in Mississippi. It's also a shorter drive for us to visit Brian. Hope everyone has a great Christmas.

Chris's life is finally on track, and now Erin will be heading to the Navy this fall. But not as an enlisted member. She was accepted to Washington State University, and will be registering as a "college program" midshipman in the cross-town unit at the University of Idaho. It's time for a new adventure!

Wow sounds like everyone is doing great! Shawn changed my plans and got out back in May. He now works for a company doing exactly what he was doing on the ships but with more benefits. He is also starting his masters in January and just joined the reserves. Maddie will be 2 this wkend and is growing like a weed! We are starting to come to terms that she will probably be an only child so we added another dog to our already crazy female ran house. Also looking to have more surgery this upcoming year so trying to plan around family being able to fly out to help with the bunch while saving Shawn's leave so we can drive back to the east coast for the holidays next year. Rather drive that boring long drive again then try to fly 3 people, 2 large dogs, and a kitty! Hope everyone is doing amazing!!!!

Great news Sandra!Brian got extended on his boat and still does not know where he's going next. He has four choices Kitsap,Groton,Kings Bay or San Diego. Unless he changes type of sub. We are hoping Kings Bay as that will be close to us when we move.Tammy and I have given up on Kalifornia and will be retiring soon. We bought a fantastic old house on an acre in Mississippi. Hope everyone is doing well, take care and God Bless.

I'm going through the recruiter thing again. This time it's for my daughter. She is trying to decide whether she will go to college, then go straight to becoming an officer and pay off $$$$$ in college loans, or go enlisted, and use her GI Bill to go to college, then become an officer.

Tomorrow she has a crazy day, both the Marine and the Navy recruiters are courting her. She will see the Marines in the morning and the Navy in the afternoon, both at school.

Wow Sarah, sounds like Maddie will love to shop and go to Starbucks! Good luck on having another baby. Too bad you can't have grand babies when your young, their so much more fun!

Wow Sandra, We will be praying for you. If you need anything let me know. WE are no longer in the city but I am down there a few times a month. Scott, how exciting to be getting another grand baby that you can spoil! Shawn doesn't have to reenlist until May since we had to extend for orders last year. Maddie is 14 months and such a happy baby! She learned to walk for a credit card and drink out a straw for starbucks so she has a personality of her own! We finally moved into the house we bought and loving the mountains. Hopefully this next year brings us luck as we once again are on the same path as before with trying for another baby but hopefully the stress of living out of the city will help!
