We are doing all one color for N4M, BB --- bright yellow. Fleece is best --- it's cheap, I guess and easy to work with. For your division, if you want to intertwine your division color (as set out by Arwen) with the bright yellow, that is up to you. I think that Lexsmom and a couple other people may be making some examples this weekend of what that would look like to post pictures of, so that we can see it.
I found some really cheap ones on Ebay, their called "Lady Woman Fashion Soft Scarf Stole Shawl 24 colors" their fairly cheap for us not so crafty ones lol. I'm gonna order my yellow and pink scarf tonight I believe. Just trying to make sure that the colors above are positively the correct division colors.
Hm - the picture I posted earlier in this thread didnt take.... So, here it is again. the scarves I made are fleece. They are 5" wide by about 52 inches long. Div 069 is lavender (which looks awful against the yellow). I found lavender ribbon bordered in black. it is 1" wide.
the one on the right is a single layer of fleece, simply cut 5" wide and the ribbon is sewn down the middle (sewn thru the black on both sides) then the ends are cut in a fringe.
the one on the left is a double layer of fleece. I cut it 10" wide, folded it over and sewed it. Then I turned it inside out (so the seam is inside. Place the seam to the middle and put ribbon over the seam (so the seam is now hidden). Sew the ribbon thru the black (on both sides). Then cut thru the fleece from the side - up to the ribbon (but dont cut the ribbon). Throw it in the dryer for a few minutes to fluff it up.
Ooooh, me likie! I like the fringed idea of pulling it out so it looks like yarn. Is it double thickness?
In the pictures the sky blue looks like a shimmery strip. Maybe nice from a distance =)
