Ok I am here, first question,

Has anyone gotten the scarf yet? We were going just Yellow but another Div is just yellow, the other color for the ribbion which is posted is gold/tan? not sure if that will show up? just wondering what everyone is doing.

Well part of my fault here as I was blabbing that we should do all yellow cause I misread and thought our division color was ALSO yellow!  OPPS>>>

So I have yellow scarf I bought and I think I will just put something gold or tan down the middle or intertwined since Div 65 is solid yellow... I want my 804 to stand out!

Also one of the moms and I think it was mapakids suggested that maybe we can try and meet for lunch or something with our SR's at least once since they may know each other and maybe seeing us moms in our group will give them more motivation that we will talk about them! hahahahahhahahahahahhaa  But seriously while I know they will all help each other as a family, it will be nice to for them to know that thier fellow Sr's mom is also friends with thier mom! Nothing like a little moral support.. they only have each other right now!

Hi guys, I was thinking about starting an 804 discussion. Good thinking BB. Anyway I am also confused on the scarf we are gold/tan right? I would like the lunch thing however not knowing the schedule for liberty or who might have guard duty and knowing my son will want to hit Chicago, I'm not sure I can commit.

However if its possible I know it would be nice!

Hi there, my son is in this Ship & division. Looking forward to his graduation in February. Have you or anyone else in this division gotten a call yet? I have not.  Received a letter last week was nice to hear from him.

Good morning and wishing all a Very Good New Year.

My grandson is on Ship 004 Div 804.  I am looking forward to the PIR and honoring all the BC Grads.

lunch sounds fun, just don't know what the Liberty time will be.

has anyone else heard that BS will be feb 3? that is what my SR said in his letter.

No phone calls yet, although I am not really expecting it for a week or so, and not sure if the call will go to me or his GF.

I love the idea of trying to lunch BUT you all brought up good points...who has duty and maybe a day in Chicago?  I know weather will play a factor for us on how far we venture.

MommaG and Doulak,,, i am going to friend you so I can get some info,, I am trying to replace a cheat sheet with some names...LOL

Ok so I am trying to get a group picture of all us N4M's done at the Meet and Greet and I would also Like to have one with JUST  804 moms as well at M and G,,, is everyone thinking they will make it to M & G?  that would be the easiest time but...

If not what about right after PIR when we have a few minutes?   I know we are all dying to get ahold of these wonderful future sailors But I only want one picture  :)   We will all see each other since we will sit in the same area and all have the yellow scarfs and will try and set up a meeting place there at PIR.

Can we try and organize that ??????

Also I think the scarf thing is pretty simple for us now....yellow for N4M and intertwine the gold or tan on it,,,If not at least the yellow to stand out as a N4M for us all to find you!

ProudUSAmom@ you are bringing the name tags for the M and G correct?

I have been waiting for that calll... maybe when he said the 5th Monday,, it will be the 5th?

Come on phone!!!!!!!

I hope you all have a great day today and I know if we get the calls it will be even BETTER!  Heading out to get 7 days worth of mail.. hope there is a letter,,,, check back a bit later!

Brenda

had 3 letters waiting today...

.He said on one he didnt even know it was Christmas until after breakfast! He said he had an awesome breakfast that day,, a steak stuffing, salad and an AMAZING ham! That is exactly how he wrote it too! lol lol lol lol He was able to attend church Friday, Sat and Sunday.

Another letter said he really missed me and the yelling has gone done some since they are actually learning everything. He said it is not hard there but not easy, ? He didnt get his hair shaved until the second day there.

He said it is really pretty there and always snow on the ground and he is actually never cold, he said more like over heating with the way they wrap up.

He wakes up at 4:30 to 5:00 and asleep between 9 and 10.. average 6 hours of sleep.

The other letters were to his brothers and sisters.

He did mention to them that he finally got letters so he is happy about that!

Hello fellow N4M's.  I have received a few letters, and one phone call, but the phone call was requesting some medical paperwork.  My son, said he should get his 3 week call later this week! He sounded tired. . . I know the first three weeks are the hardest, then it gets better!! So on the scarves, did we decide yellow?
I'm here - what is this about a scart??
we are all wearing yellow scarf with gold/tan to show that we N4M and which division. You are new here....
