FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

poor ian before he got off the phone he said "well ill try to write you a letter tonight before i go to bed..........actually maybe not baby, im really tired, ive been up for a really long time." awww i totally understand i was even expecting anything, im just so proud of him! Congrats to all the new sailors and their loved ones. and good luck to those one go on sunday!

WOW - I am getting teary eyed and I have to wait till next Tuesday. My heart is breaking for those who didn't make it and I am so proud of those who did!!

Just got a call from my hubby:)
he is in div068.
he says they earned the call for doing AWESOME on their march.
He said 3 guys joined his division today cuz they didnt pass BS:(
He and 2 other guys r up for HONOR!! wooo hooo...
Im sooo proud of him:)

hey anyone.. question....
does anyone know if my hubby can take gifts with him?
I was going to take his Christmas, bday, and anniversary gifts to PIR wkend. But can he even take them with him?

Just got the "I'm a sailor" call from Taylor about 30 minutes ago! I'm actually at a wedding and the call came between the ceremony and the reception. How perfect was that??? I had to run to our hotel to get online. Congrats to all of our sailors and to all of you!
