Laurie - Taylor can start wearing civilian clothes during liberty this upcoming weekend. He has already been allowed off base on the "buddy system" and in his dress uniform. He's at a base in Monterey, CA that hosts all branches of the military, so I'm not sure if the rules are any different.

So im kinda sad. i didnt really get my hopes up cuz i knew it was too good to be true. But my bf told me early this week that he might get to come home since its a four day weekend, but most likely not and to not get my hopes up. I didnt think he would be able to come home next weekend, but i couldnt help but wish it was true.

I hope you hear from Brad soon, Jess. He probably has to leave base to go buy a cell and he hasn't had an opportunity to leave yet. You know you would be hearing from him if he was unhappy in P'cola, so you can at least feel confident that things are going well for him.
