Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hard to believe it's done. What a ceremony! It was an exciting day and got even better when Paxston showed up with his clothes, we have him for the weekend.
So glad to meet moms and know who you were by the ribbons. As soon as my oldest daughter posts to her blog, I will let you know, we will be mentioned! She cals me a stalker!

No phone call for us - :-( But I can't compalin since we did get one a week! We are somewhere near Ohio, Getting ready to pack up the car - and really if the trunk were to pop open going down the road we would lose everything, It would SPRING out! Can you say sardines! I know where the term comes from now. Last night was quiet, but I am sure that today will be eventful! See you all tonight!

hey all...so ive been happy all day. i need to study for my physiology class but i just keep thinking about our phone calls. It was great to hear him laugh. last friday he seemed so drained. Im glad they have free time now to do whatever they want (well kinda) he said he gained 20lbs!
