Merry,

Is everyone that's going to Florida leave on Sat?

Comment by Betsy, mom of Stennis sailor on January 31, 2011 at 6:31pm
LovinMaSR, I have not actually heard of any reading the mail, but they will ask SR to open mail in front of them, for instance if they receive an envelope that is bulging or a package.

Hi All,

I made our reservations at the Navy Lodge today. Found out that SR is leaving the morning of 3/19 for Florida. Boo that we won't be able to spend anytime with him except Liberty on Friday and Yeah that the family can spend an extra day in Chicago or Milwaukee.

...oh, and I haven't seen any on this PIR group (YAH), but there have been a couple of "slips" on a couple of the other groups that I go on. We veteran moms don't even like seeing the first names of the recruits used...better to use an intial or better yet, "my son, daughter, hubby, wife, gf, bf, etc."
Comment by diannep on January 31, 2011 at 3:36pm
Ladies:  Just a reminder...no last names can be used on this site.  Navy security...for the protection of all.  It also connects you with your recruit...and your posts here...which are read by some of the RDCs working with your recruits...so please be careful and don't post any last names.
