He had to call home to get our sons ss number and birth certificate faxed. He tried me 4 times and my phone was on vibrate so I missed them, but he did get through to his mom! Thank heavens. It is such a relief to hear something. So it was just an emergency information call, it was maybe a minute if that she said, he was all rushy, but anything is better then nothing when you miss somebody!

I love the "I'm a sailor call" notices also.  Love it! Hoping there won't be too many travel delays for this week's PIR.

We haven't any calls at all,his gf hasn't heard from him either, however his 3 line note sounded positive so we'll just have to wait it out .Tomorrow is 2 weeks he's been there ,hopefully they'll be getting mail soon,he's going to have quite a stack:)

Absolutely, Angie.  I thought the same thing when I heard it this morning.  Prayers for the 2/4 group.  Also pray for their next group of BattleStations tonight!  For those who want some excitement, go on their PIR group page tomorrow afternoon and watch the posts when receiving the I'm a Sailor calls!

Ladies  we have to send a lot of positive thoughts for the families of the those sr's who are graduating this weekend  With what the news is caling the biggest snowstorm of the decade heading right to Great Lakes there could be travel delays   Let's hope it happens early in the week so everyone has a safe flight!!
