We got a call!! He is in Ship 07 Div. 109:)) He couldn't talk long, as he just needed to tell us to fax something. My phone was on vibrate from work so I missed 4 of his calls, so he called his mom. Grr. But she said he sounded great!

hahaha betsy thats to funny its like they really want them to suffer in there and we are all on here teaming up giving info to try and make it the most comfortable process for them while we are hundreds of miles away from our SR

Your SR will probably have to open the package that contain the contact lenses in front of their RDC, but it's ok for them to have them for graduation day only. My son was questioned by his RDC about how I knew to send them to him.  He asked my son if my son had told me too and my son said "No sir"  Then in an Ah ha moment, the RDC said "Oh, I bet it was that **** Navy4Moms"  LOL  The funniest part of it was, that I didn't find out on here, I found out on the Recruit Training Command Facebook page.  lol  He then just told my son to put them away until graduation morning.  :)

I believe she meant the SR. They look forward to the little things so I'm positive that's what was meant. And anybody can send a letter as long as they have the address.
