wmax:  You mean as far as makeup, etc?  Or "goodie" packages? They aren't allowed to have any packages like that, but are allowed to receive contacts to be worn at PIR and some makeup, etc for the same reason. Maybe a mom of a female SR can add to this post since I have sons!

AndrewsMom:  Sometimes the box comes first, sometimes the form letter. The form letter should be coming next week.

Hello all, we got the form letter today but still no box. Is that suppose to come before or after the form letter? Glad we have all made it through the first week and anxiously waiting for the next 7 to pass quickly!!

Can someone please tell me what we are allowed to send to our SR's at bootcamp? I can't seem to access the link her form letter gave me.

"Oh wait a minute Mr. Postman....I've been waiting to hear from that boy of mine."

So glad to hear that letters are arriving. :)

SeaBeeWifeDawn: No letter for us either. Maybe Monday.

Hi,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we found a really good deal on MCI calling cards at Rite Aid. I don't know if its at all of them but check it out. We got 650 mins for $30 and then a free card wit the same amount of minutes. So a total of 1300 mins for $30 bucks!

The letter from my son was much different than I expected.  Yes, he confirmed the blisters and the shots from hell. But, on another note he was upbeat and felt it wasn't that bad.  I was preparing myself for the worse but I felt so much better after reading it.  He did say it sorta resembled a prison atmosphere like mentioned below.  He also said there were no calendars and to please send him a small one.

I have to admit it did make me laugh.
