My son is in Div 109 - good to meet you
Hi Amy, Glad you started this group and we can get others involved. Should be fun!

My boyfriend got to Great Lakes on the 25th of January. He is in Ship 07 Division 109 as well <3 I just got his form letter today. Things are going good for him. I'm doing pretty good too. Is it March 25th yet? :)

Match 25th can't come fast enough Jennifer!!
My boyfriend is going to Mississippi as well. Gulfport for 4 months.
Good morning. My husband is going to Groton CT for SCEF. Seriously.....hurry up March!!! Have a good day ladies.
It's already Feb, which means this month will fly ladies!!  Navywife: Do you know anything about how long average schooling is for SECF, I'm curious as to whether I'll be able to live with him after I'm done with school or not. I keep seeing 18 weeks plus 8 BESS. But his recruiter said something like 2 years!
Hi Ashley. Yes its like a year if not more. Depending on what exact rate....but they will move you with him. Hook up with Ryan Hannahssailor from the 3/18 pir group. He is actually in a school in Groton now! He knows everything and is super friendly about giving us info. Looks like we might be neighbors me and you! Lol
I'm so happy to hear they'll move me. I was afraid when I got done with school in August I'd have to go even longer without seeing him in person:( I'll have to start talking to him, I know both my SR and I could use all of the information we can get. It would be nice to have people I know when we do move with him! You surely can't be in this alone!
I haven't received my son's form letter yet..does it come through regular mail? I received "The Box" yesterday..
You should get the form letter within a few days then, they say usually 10 days or so after they leave for BC. And yes it was through regular mail:)
Has anyone received a "normal" phone call yet?
