I have a daughter in this division and I miss her like I never thought I would. How are others parents doing?

Hi ... yep ... right there with ya!  We're hanging in there -- I'll feel sooooo much better when we finally get the form letter. Even though they only have a couple of lines to write something, I just want that extra reassurance that 1) she's ok (even if that's all she says and 2) that we have the correct division info (considering I've already sent something like 8 letters/cards to that address .. :-)

Were you told your son or daughter? was in ship 7 div. 112?

Yes ... my daughter's recruiter gave me her address last Monday and said she was in Ship 07 Div 112. I have no reason to think that would change, but I've heard that it can happen on occasion, so I really am anxious to get the form letter to confirm everything. (Plus, of course, any kind of note on that letter from my daughter would be so welcome :-)  Hopefully tomorrow ...

Oh Good, Nice to hear from a fellow 7/112 mom.

You may have to wait until Wednesday for a letter frpm your daughter. They write on sunday
Yes ... I guess I don't really expect to get a regular letter from her until later ... I just thought I'd get the form letter sooner than this .. was under the impression those got sent out a little earlier. But, then again .. with the nasty weather over the last week .. I'm sure things were delayed.  Ah well .. just keep repeating to myself .. "No news is good news" .. :-)

It looks like Div. 113 got their form letters. I hope ours comes soon!

Wow! i wonder why some in the same division got there letters and some did not. My daughter called me last night!! I t was the best thing in the world to hear her voice. I am not sure why she got to call but I am so glad she was able to.  Everyone keep in touch! Nice to have support!
wow!  That's so great ... so happy for you!  :-)

What address do you have! You got your form letter really early! I haven't got mine! What is different? I have sent about 6 letters already .. Ship 2 USS Chicago Division112

3415 Taylor Drive Great lakes 60088-3515

Jensensmom - Is your recruit in ship 2 or ship 7?  USS Chicago is Ship 07 and as far as I know Division 112 is in Ship 07 ('course, I have yet to get our form letter so am going by what our recruiter said). Also, on the RTC website, there is a page that lists all of the ships and their associated address.  According to that page (http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp) the address for Ship 07 is 3405 Sailor Drive.

From everything that I've heard, though, even if we have the wrong address -- the recruits should eventually get their mail.

OH NOOOO!! I put Taylor Drive! I must have heard the recruiter Wrong.  I am so scared she won't get them now.   Do you no if it is 3405 or 3415?  I have to tell everyone now.
The address is 3405 Sailor Drive. I am so mad. Her recruiter said it should still get to her. Thanks Laura
