It will come a little later. You should get it soon. I didn't get a box, so I can't tell exactly when it came after.

I received my Kid in a Box yesterday and I'm wondering if there was suppose to be a form letter with it or does that come later? I'm sure someone has already explained this in a previous post but I can't remember!  :/

Lol I'm so glad they are learning to fold clothes. Maybe when this is all said and done he'll know to fold our clothes, rather then throwing them in a basket to iron later!

Net, I'm sure they're keeping up on clearing the base. And our power was out all night, some here still have none:( I'm sure they are all nice and warm right now..being yelled at lol:)

Lol ok, that's what I was afraid of. And the collage sounds good too! I'm sure I could whip something cute up with that:)

Ashley:  Cute idea, but I say NOOOOOO!  Better to maybe make a collage on computer paper with the same messages....anything you want to do, including pictures, should be scanned or printed onto paper and mailed as a letter.  No drawing attention from the RDCs to the recruits' mail!

I told my fiances' mother about the M&G when I was in 3/18 and heard of it and she said that would be neat to go to, and I myself would love that too. The Ramada's prices are not bad either, compared to some I've seen.

And also I have a question. I was looking for neat ideas for letters, as I have no idea what to write anymore, (Yes I have a boring life). Well I came across something I liked and don't know if he'd get in trouble for it or made fun of. Take colorful paper and cut if small enough so you can write on it. On about 20 or so pieces write a reason why I love him. I personally think he would absolutely love this, I'm just nervous if someone else see's it. We always wrote each other little notes and did corny stuff like this, but I do want him to still get stuff like that while he's away, so he kind of feels like he's at home still, although BC is nothing like home!

I won't be able to attend the M&G on Thursday because I'll be flying into Chicago at 7pm. If someone else would like to start the event group, please feel free to do so and then post as a Discussion so we can be sure to keep the event information on the front page and it doesn't get buried with all our commenting. :) Thank you!!

In the 2/4 group, they actually took the 2 divisions going through BattleStations tonight and had them go last night because of the blizzard coming.  Wonderful surprise phone calls today for those in Divs 61 and 62!  The Navy takes good care of their sailors and wanted all of those commuting back to their homes from GL bases to get there safely which is probably why they closed the base at 1 pm...my son showed me his phone when he was home for Christmas, and a bad storm came through his base area...and the messages were going out to all sailors on the base about report times, not coming in, etc...they stay very connected to the weather. Your recruits are probably getting all snugly and warm in their beds about now or are close to it!
