its not to late for LAST MINUTE ribbons.  I had three beautiful ribbons from LALA and they are priceless.. I even got one for my ex husband.. lol.  wanted to make sure you all know about her.. so i cut her words off of her n4m profile.. so you can see how to reach her.

Hi Friends, I make ribbons for anyone who would like them to wear to PIR. They are a great way to show how proud you are of your sailor and also a great way to recognize other members of N4M's. I don't make the ribbons for a profit so I keep the price low enough to cover materials and expenses. Most divisions order the Navy colored ribbons with gold or silver letters. They are not too frilly so they are suitable for men as well. The 800 divisions usually order black with gold letters. If you want ribbons make sure you order them at least a week before you leave for PIR so you get them on time. I can do overnight shipping but it is about $20.00 so it is best to order early. I take checks, money orders and PayPal. Send me a friend request and I will send you the info for ordering the ribbons. I also make Navy/Military scrapbook embellishments. If you are interested in the scrapbook stuff send me your private email address and I will send you the info. You can see sample pics of the ribbons and scrapbook embellishments here on my page.

Check out My Face Book page: Unique Memory Makers, "like" my page and you will be entered into a drawing March 23rd for a free bundle of Navy Scrapbook embellishments.

Kathy, you you are correct.  Today is Captains Cup!

And, everyone, what Kathy said is a wonderful thing to do.  Ask your new sailors if they have a buddy there who has no family coming for PIR and see if your sailor would like to invite that sailor to spend time with your family  So many do this and the sailors love it.

Congratulations to all the new Sailor's...I am so excited for all of you!!! Have a great time at PIR it is truly an amazing time, my Sailor's PIR was 12/22...I can actually feel the giddiness (is that a real word?) excitement and of course impatience you are feeling right now....enjoy every single moment :0)

We might want to keep an eye on the Facebook site for possible pictures today.  I think today is the day for the Captain's Cup?

Thank you everyone for sending the former letterless SR lots of letters.  I got a letter from him this week, and he said that responding to all the letters might be harder than bootcamp :)  We are going to adopt this new Sailor for the day on Friday if his family isn't able to make it to graduation.  I thought some of you may want to ask your Sailors if they know of anyone that doesn't have family coming for their graduation?  It could give other families the opportunity to adopt a new Sailor for the day.
