Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good morning! Can you believe it? Single digits!!!!! Nine days left!

I have seen some of you with info on when a school starts....how did you find that?
My SR is headed to school in CT for subs like many on here and I am trying to figure when it starts. Any help is much appreciated!

If anyone has a problem downloading the gate pass that ProudNavyWife mentioned below, download Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (both free downloads). That usually corrects the problem...but like ProudNavyWife said, make sure the password (from your form letter) is in ALL CAPS.

Geez this week they're going to be in the 50's - 60's and next week when we go they are supposed to be in the mid 20's. Lets all pray that changes. I would really like to show them some of Chicago without freezing to death (I'm from Arizona). :)
