For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Dianne, are you referring to Jessica B? Or something along those lines? I'll ask! And NavyWify, the phone calls we do receive outside of the I'm Here, 3 weeks call, and the I'm a Sailor are all earned calls, so not everyone is going to be calling home! I didn't receive a call but just look forward to that call in about a week! They will be Sailors!!!

Good Evening Everyone. LaLa I just wanted to let you know I received my ribbons and they are great. Everyone in the family that sees them says "I want One". They really turned out very nice. I received a letter yesterday and my son says that they have received a few flags. His letter was dated the 6th and he stated he would get another call in 12 days. By looking at the calendar that would be the morning after battlestations. He stated the division is doing very well. He also stated that trying to get information to determine if they leave early Saturday or even Friday was hard. That a lot of information is not being stated right now. They may be wanting them to focus on the task coming up and not focused on the following weekend. Maybe we will here more next week.

Not everyone in every division made calls -- I didn't get a call from my SR (div 114). I'm wondering if the calls made were reward calls.

Ashley: Jessica can tell you. She stayed there when she went. I would imagine that you do, but don't know for sure.
