Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Whoo Hoo!!!  I just got to talk to my son for 45 minutes! So nice to be able to catch up with everything he's been experiencing. Sounds like our boy is growing into Navy life just fine!

Phone call tonight from my SR -- He sounds like he's doing well. He was fired as division Yeoman, which he's relieved by. He said that he loves the letters, but I'm the only one he's gotten mail from, which makes me annoyed with my in-laws!

Oh ok Lol. I hope he's started getting my stuff again. Last letter he got was last Thursday and I sent 2 to 3 out daily:( Grr.

My SR gets the most mail?? He said he never gets it, or did you mean yours? Lol either way OMG I LOVE YOU AMY!! Your so sweet and now I'm crying:) If I ever get a call I will tell him the same:)

Omg guys.... he called!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a quick Woooooo hooooooooo!!!! I am so flippen excited. Best 30 minutes ever. Thank you all for the prayers. He sounded different but he is stuffy and did have teeth pulled.

Div 109 earned a flag for academics yay!

He said he is doing great best choice he ever made by joining. He misses me and his family and can't wait to see us at PIR.

He talked to a classifyer and is getting me set up to move with him to a school.

Ashley we talked about your SR! I told him we are friends on here and he knows your SR! I told him to tell him hi and you love him.

He said he gets the most mail and to keep it up! Lol

I'm still shaking because I am so happy. It was the total boost I needed.

Thank you everybody! I do have my moments as everyone else does. I'm taking pictures for him and it's helping. I finally got a printer so I can send a bunch on normal paper! Only 35 days til we leave for GL's!!
