Jenine and MissingSailorD - Thanks for the encouragement. My SR was given one of the recruit leadership positions and his recruiter told me that will be adding a lot to an already full plate. At least his one letter said he's made a couple friends so I know he has someone there to talk to!

Now it's time to go off to school and try to get little kids to pay attention on the eve of a 4 day weekend for them. Also to hope that he doesn't call while I'm at work!  :)

Hi Ladies,  Oh my goodness! Been gone for so long. I feel as if I've missed out on so much. We didnt have internet since we moved and we just got it back today so I've been without it for over a week. I've received two letters from my wonderful SR and I cherish each one. I was hoping my DIL would of gotten a call from him since most of you in Div 109 did. Im sure he's fine, just would of been great if they could of heard each others voices to keep them strong.

MissingSailorD, I've heard it is a all black bag.

Now that we have internet again, I hope to get to know all of you better and look forward to meeting you all at graduation!

MissingSailor, I'm pretty sure it should be a plain black bag.

Anyone know if there's a rule in terms of what color bag they can bring to A school? I've been getting mixed answers. Some say it has to be plain and all black and some said it doesn't matter. I got him one with some colors on it. This is for his electronics etc.

Chest colds and sore throats were going around and the weekend was used to pull wisdom teeth so that may have been the delay for some of your calls. I hope you hear something soon NavyWife.

Gwynhwyfar, My SR is also in Ship 07 Div 114 and he hasn't called yet either. I only received one letter as well...but I understood it that he can write on Sunday so we'll probably get letters tomorrow or Friday. Hang in there...the letters will come! And hopefully the calls too!

navywife23-Yea, I was thinking the same thing as diannep. Don't worry, I'm sure you will hear from him soon.

proudmama-My husband was sick too, he said almost the whole division is sick. It seems like others from different division is sick too. I guess it must be hard. Our SRs are so strong. I'm so proud of them! 36 days to go!  :)
Comment by diannep on February 16, 2011 at 10:06pm
Well, that is up to his RDCs.  Sometimes they will let the ones who missed make it up...some won't.  Just be ready at any time, any place, for the next one!
