lol, I will do that, I just watched the weather and we are only supposed to get 1 to 2 inches which doesn't sound to bad unless you think back to Christmas day when they said 1 to 2 inches and we got almost a foot. It is so hard to predict exactly what we will get here in the mountain of WNC.

Lala - yes, I'm sure the weather (both at GL and here) has played a role in the delay. Won't know until tonight when I get home from work whether we got the letter today (although - I'm starting to guess not again 'cause I think my hubby would have called by now if we got it - mail usually comes before noon). sigh .. ah well .. one day at a time, right?  Ok, must get back to work and try to get something productive accomplished today - Have a great day all!

Whew! Just got done booking air fare, hotel and car rental for PIR!  We are so looking forward to seeing how much our son has matured and grown while at bootcamp! And Lala...please order up some sun for us come March the 25th. We aren't used to the s**w!  :)

For those booking flights, South West is the only airline that doesn't charge a change fee. I would keep a close watch on the weather. If you are driving you may need to leave a day earlier if bad weather is coming. Laurau- I hope you get that letter today. I bet it was delayed because of the snow a few days ago.

I went ahead and booked our rooms (we're staying at the Navy Lodge too) even though we haven't received the form letter yet. As soon as I saw the RTC website post the graduation date, I just wasn't comfortable waiting longer. And, with the hotel, the reservation can be changed right up to the day we're supposed to arrive. I think we're going to drive, so I'm not as concerned about flights .. although I still wouldn't book any flights until getting the form letter -- those could be harder to change. (Speaking of the form letter .. I reeeeaaally hope we get our today .. it's been a full 2 weeks since our daughter left .. sigh.)

Good morning everyone, I hope you are having a great day and avoiding the s**w Shhhh we don't say that word here because we don't want anymore. I am 100% ready for warmth and sunshine, bring on the Spring lol. I hope you all are getting those form letters this week. I just talked to a mom who was freaking out because she had not received her box and everyone else had. Well it turns out they always park at the back of the house and never use the front door. Guess where her box was. That's right sitting on a chair right by the front door :-) She is so much calmer now :-)
