Yay for letters!  I'm sure it's just my son, not writing to more than one person at a time. Now if he had a computer, I know he would write me. I even sent him a questionaire... I thought he would have sent that back before getting another letter. Adrianamom... maybe you will get time with her on your weekend of PIR since she is staying in GL.  Mine goes to Nuke school in Charleston, SC.

I just received my second letter, it was longer than the first one. My lazy daughter is ironing and folding her uniforms.  She goes to bed at 10:00 pm and wake up at 6:00 am, but is waking up at 2:30 am to "watch" duties. ...this never happened when she was at home. The PT is only 3 times a week for one hour,...

She told me that there 85 girls on the comparment, but the DIV is intigrated for men and females.

Her MOS is on MED Corp on Great lakes, just crossin the road.

God bless our Sailor!!!

Sorry.....quiltblue:( I know how disappointed you feel.....but no news is good news...right?..I'm sure they are extra busy learning & multi-tasking.  I have learned one thing in my family.......guys don't multi-task as easy as us girls do!  At least that's true around here.  It won't be long before we will see our SR's march through those doors at PIR:)))

I got a letter today...but it was very short so maybe that is an indcation of how busy they are:)  My son mentioned Battlestations that will be coming in a few weeks.  He said he had heard how intense it is & that it was designed by Disney.

He misses movies & music and also asked me to see if he had gotten any posts on Facebook. It was very short ........

Again, no letter.  Wonder if my SR wants to join in getting letters 'Adopt a Sailor...' if he doesn't write his Momma, that might be the only way he gets any! Ugh... never was a Momma's boy, I don't know why I thought it would be different now.

Adrianamom--Lala Ribbon Queen put a questionnaire in the discussion forums above.  Use the View All to see it because it's not one of the first few that you can see...

About ANSWER - Adopt a Noble Sailor Write Every Recruit

Yes, please send along at least the last names with ship, division and address by Private Message to me or request to join the group (need to watch out for spammers) if anyone wishes. Plenty of warm cards with well wishes and encouragement from thoughtful persons just waiting with pen in hand ready to write. Now that is what we call unity with ALOHA!

Lala Ribbon Queen--thanks for the questionnaire!  I love it.  Just finished tweaking it for my recruit.  I'm planning on sending it within a week or so.  Some real info, some humor and awesome advice! Thanks again.
