We are finally in the 20"s in day counting! 29 days  until we see our babies!!  I was so excited to get my phone call last night. The phone rang during dinner, before my husband could answer it I told hiim, "that's our son" and sure enough!!! My husband was talking, and talking and talking. Finally....I got the phone! It was so great to hear his voice. He sounded exhausted. He says he is very tired but he still sounded great!!! Yeah, we're almost there everybody!!

Bren: I'm so sorry about that....if his group is still calling, then it is possible that he will call again. But if they have all gone back, probably won't.  But eventually he will call again! Hoping that it will be today!  Could he have been calling for info?  If so, he will call back eventually.  I had a missed call like that too....and my son didn't call back.  I didn't find out until a couple of weeks later when he called again on the pay phones that it was an "info" call...but they got it without needing me.

Clay's Girl--- St Christopher is the patron saint of "safe passage"....I have seen them on line where one side has the Navy insignia and the other has St. Christopher.

Oh, and the questionaires are great to mix up and make them your own by asking those questions and ones that you throw in there, dependent on your SR's personality. I have read some of the funniest responses from other moms that came back from their SR's. One young person write his mother in the "what would you like me to write or send you?" He said, " A picture of me with hair, I really miss it!" LOL

Hello SR Moms - Not sure if I told this group about ANSWER - the SR specific letter writing group we have started? We have had several SR's names given and mail is it's way. So if any of your SR's have mentioned that they know of someone getting very little to no mail please let us know. We have some terrific people on anxious standby just waiting for a name & address. You can either join our group and Send Message to Group or send it me by private message and I will send out the word.
