Calls from Div 118 are starting now!  I just got mine!!!  Please be careful to not make them cry, when I was on the phone with my SR I heard several being yelled at by CO in the background for crying like babies!  It's extrememly hard but please be careful!  Enjoy every minute of it!  I've never heard my SR sound so mature!  GOD, thank you for my call today!!!!

clays/kym--yes they usually do have a time limit. They can split the time up between two people. My son did this. He called us and his GF. Claysgirl...you are right. the only thing about making two calls during your time is it uses up a lot of minutes. It takes quite a few minutes off the card just to connect. My son knew this and purchased another card from NEX so he wouldnt run out. I thought of writing him and telling him to call US one time and his GF the next...but i never did, i was being a little selfish and wanted to hear from him each time...lol..lpus i know that she wanted to hear from him as much as possible.

They do have a set time and they CAN make multiple calls to multiple people. Some people who got calls said they only got about 15-20min. My call was about 35 I think it depends if they have a lot of people waiting or not cause Clay said he was one of the last so maybe he got longer..? I dunno. ALSO Clay said anytime he called a cell phone using the calling card we got him it automatically took 35min off the card. And he had to call me twice because it messed up the first time (*sigh*) I was so bummed cause he didnt want to risk calling his parents also and not having enough minutes to actually have a decent conversation :/

Do they have a time limit on phone calls and they split their time betrween more than one person?

janlee... I am definitely going to do that!!!! I can just hear my son laughing at that!!!

quiltblue---I understand about the mailman...its a love/hate relationship we have with them...lol

You can send him a birthday card. I sent my son SO many cards..mostly 'hang in there' or 'just want to say Hi" kind of cards..then i wrote a bunch of stuff in them. Just keep it 'standard' sized and there wont be any problem. My son was in over Christmas (uhhgg) and i mailed him a christmas card (in a white envelope) and glued a picture of his gift inside...then i covered that with a piece of wrapping paper and wrote 'open here for your gift' above it. He said he laughed when he saw it, but felt like he had something to 'open' at christmas....lol

What we dont do to make them feel good,,,,huh? we will never stop either.:))

janlee... my computer does that weird typing of stuff too sometimes!  Still waiting to get another letter. Why does the postal carrier always run late or not bring a letter when I am wanting one?  My SR will have his birthday during BC, but not until the 21st... okay ANGELS (my loving term for those who have gone before us newbies)... is it okay for regular birthday cards? No musical, racy or glittery I know. What do you think?
