Hang in there moms---you are reaching the point where you want to say.."okay, Navy...lets go, its been long enough .. im ready for a call",  it seems like days are weeks. Ive said that christmases have came and went faster than BC moves...lol..and you miss them so much. its hard to think of anything else..

Just when you think you cant take it anymore...you will get a call and all will be good.

claysgirl---did you say BEACH??? what?!!   I cant even imagine...we got about 7 inches of snow last night...hahaha...that sounds crazy!! I would do anything for a beach right now....

The first 2 to 3 weeks are so hard. You have had very little, if any, contact. You are worried about your recruits. Are they getting enough to eat? Do they like the food, are they homesick, are they wondering what they have gotten themselves into? Have they made any friends or have they been sick. Believe me I know all this hard. But hang in there you are almost through the hardest part. I won't say the communication goes from lacking to great but it does get better. Letters will start to come and then a phone call and before you know it you will be finalizing all your travel plans and will be on your way to see your new Sailor. It is an incredible journey and your recruit can survive with your help and encouraging letters from home. And yes, you too can survive with the help from all the new friends you have made on this wonderful site. God bless each one of you on this incredible journey :-)

I'm feeling the same....Clay'sgirl........I've been trying to stay really busy......but it's catching up with me, too.  I miss my son terribly .......We should all be getting a letter this week....so hang in there.....Anyone get a call or letter, please let us all know:))))))

OMG guys Im having a pretty rough day.. Its been awhile since I've had one like this that its kind of surprising to me. I've tried staying busy (I've made bows until my fingers hurt then I tried to go to the beach but it was REALLY foggy) just nothing is going right- ya know?? I better get a REALLY great letter this week thats all I can say.. lol.. Trying to stay positive stinks!!

We have 35 members!  It seems to be such a small number. I have created a spreadsheet for those who are in this PIR (yes by division too) and all we have are 35!  34 Sailors!  (My husband is also a member - Blueboy).  I am trying to troll through some of the other forums/groups to find anyone missing. I also found someone through the RCT Facebook page!

Ok, glad that they have now put 806 on the RTC schedule for PIR 4/1.  All divisions accounted for now!
