We all just celebrated our Sailors Graduating today and most of us have really enjoyed our afternoon with them. I really don't want to give him back to RTC! My sailor will be learning how to be ET (Electronics Technician), originally he was going…Continue

Ahhh..... yes, Skype is a wonderful invention!! We tried it for the first time yesterday and it was great!! They took their first cab ride to the mall this afternoon, 7 people... $5 each, each way! Those cab drivers must love our military people!! Going to buy some "real" clothes! She can't wear them yet, but.. she is getting prepared!! School starts Tues. for her !
I hope you are all well and recovered from our trip!! I have had a long week, so I am hoping to just take it easy for the rest of the night!! (yes... i think i could handle that!! )
everyone have a fantastic weekend!!
Conster...It's best not to use first or last name.......but if you want to mention that in a private message it's fine. I have noticed on the other N4M's sites for "A" schools it is requested not to use names while messaging back & forth.
Good Morning:)
I'm so glad everyone is settling in.......I don't know about you all ...but getting PIR behind us feels like a weight was lifted off of me:)
Conster.....Thanks for the update....Even though I know it was hard leaving your daughter, it is wonderful to be able to have more contact with our sailors now. Where is your daughter's "A" School?
My son is in P-Cola & has been so busy that we have only spoken a few minutes on the phone & texted a couple of times. I'm so proud of him & all of our sailors:)
Skyler: I will continue to pray along with you that God bless & watch over our men & women in uniform:)))
Monica: My son's in Florida as well........what's your sons rate (job)?
It's great to catch up with you all......I'm so excited for their future:)))))
Have a wonderful weekend everybody:))))))
Good Morning All,
Well, 1 week ago at this time, we were all cheering, crying, and hugging our new Sailors!!! What a gift from God, to be there, and meet all of you. My prayer for all our Sailors....is that they keep doing super at "A" school, and that they shoot for the stars.
I had a really hard time saying goodbye to my daughter at the airport, but now, we talk and text, every single day.
But I will say, I am glad to be back in Florida, and this nce, warm, humid (ugh) weather, haha.
Have a Great Friday everybody. I love you all.
quiltblue, I ordered the DVD during boot so I'll be able to watch us march in once I get it, but I'm just a bit impatient! And my dad was forced to sit in the wrong section lol I was one of the award winners so he had to sit in that section which happened to be on the opposite side. I am currently in Pensacola, Florida. The weather is awesome and I gotta say I'm not too upset that it's going to take me about 4 months to start classes.
My best to all my new shipmates and their families!
WOW!!! What a terrific weekend it was. I was and still am, truly blessed to get to meet all of you, and attend my daughters graduation. I got back late Sunday night, and it has taken me this long to recuperate from the trip.
I want to thank you all, for your love, support, and prayers. I did NOT want to let go of my Sailor at the airprt. We both broke down and cried. Poor Sarge, had to call me and tell me that he had to go.
Btw, Sarge is FANTASTIC!!! He is so professional, courteous, and an encyclopedia of information. I am so thankful for his services. I would have been completely lost, without him helping me.
And even though Sailor Ford let it slip that I was coming, it was a wonderful reunion there at PIR. I cried the whole way back to Florida Sunday afternoon.
I want to keep in touch with all of you. Please let me know where I can send my home address, with home and cell phone numbers.
Thank you all again!!!
