Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

TJ- I have tried to send you a message 3 times and no luck, no idea what is going on with your inbox. But you are right, I am the one who makes the ribbons to wear to PIR and you can wear them to both PIR and the Meet and greet and you can wear them along with your scarf, whatever color y'all choose. Another group is doing the same thing and I think they are even wearing the ribbon on their scarves, They even posted a pick of what it would look like. The good thing about the ribbons is they make a great keepsake. If you get any of the messages I sent you let me know. You can see pictures of the ribbons I make on my page. Several in this group have already ordered them too. Thanks for asking :-)

Since we are aggies
orange won't get it- I'll go for blue or red or if it's put to a vote I can tolerate green...this harder than we thought:))

Not a fan of green - how about another option?

My husband would prefer a color that he could also wear... maybe lime green or grass green? I don't think he would wear hot pink ;o)
Comment by soccer mom on February 19, 2011 at 8:41pm
Hey has anyone brought up hot pink for 116?
Comment by janlee on February 19, 2011 at 6:05pm
Also...you can include other loved ones (girlfriends, sisters, husbands) to wear the color also..the more color...the better they can spot you...
