Well I just dropped my sailor back off. Found out today that he wont be leaving for eight more days so I could have had the whole weekend with him. (Total bummer) BUT I'm still glad I saw him for the time that I did.

We are blessed to have our Sailor for the weekend!! Thank you Lord!! we have had a wonderful day and she is awfully tired like all our Sailors so we are resting in the hotel now and in for the night...It was a pleasure to meet you all and your families.  looking forward to the next chapter. Well, we have had our lunch with our son the Sailor and now are just hanging out at the Navy Lodge for awhile. He has watch later tonight and then leaves for Midway Airport to fly out. We will go later (early morning Saturday) and hang out with him there.  It is so good to just be near him! He won a Sharpshooter Medal!  Gave him his small cross to have on his tags and fed him at Cracker Barrel until he couldn't eat anything else! It is such an awesome feeling to be just in the same room! Welcome to all the new Moms that are going to be joining us!!! We will turn this into an Alumni Group and add new discussions based on the cities our kids are going to! I have started the above for Charleston, SC/Goose Creek - Nuclear A School!
