For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ok, this pik that janlee put in is great. I do believe that this is the view that 115 and 116 will have, if like when we were there. 115 may have a bit better view of the entrance than 116. When we were there, they sat the lowest numbered division at the far end of the hall (with big door across like the pik), and we were the next lowest next to them. What a sight...It is quite a moment....

We got a phone call!!!! So good to hear from him. He said they had fun at captain's cup and are looking forward to battlestations. He has passed all of his test and is ready to see us.
He did say that he is leaving for San Diego on Sat. Looks like the new policy they posted on FB is panning out.
So good to hear from him!
Congrats 806 on winning Captain's Cup.

I know the rest of you are looking forward to Battlestations next week!! Get ready !! What an exciting day it is!! I am sooo glad I was on spring break that week because I don't think I would have been much good at school that day!

Hi everyone. Sorry for not being able to get on here more, but I am trying. These past 3 weeks have been very difficult. <Deep breath> Ok, I did not get a call yet. Do you think that she may call me tonight? I am also now working on getting a flight up to GL. I have been praying that somehow, somewhere, God will get me there. I have put this in his hands......I truly want to watch my daughter graduate and see her face, as a United States Sailor.
I know we are all excited seeing our SR's this coming Friday, April 1st. Does anone know where America's best value inn is located? Hopefully it is near the bootcamp.
