Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello lovey ducks!!!! I am officially a Sailors wife!! Lol I married my Sailor at a ceremony by the sea on June 20th and it couldnt have been more perfect.. Clear skys and even a breeze ;) with 30 family members and close friends, wish you guys coulda made it (too bad you guys are all over the country :/ lol) So now we prepare to move!! Slightly nervous but mostly excited. Cant wait to set up our home :)) I hope everyone is doing well and that ya'lls Sailors are settling in!

wow!  I can't believe some of your sailors are already on a ship or waiting to get on one!  Our son is done with his A school but still has some technical training before he goes to his ship.  He will be on the Sullivans, a destroyer out of Florida when he is done training.  Good luck to all of those that are already out there!

Hope all are doing okay. My son is getting use to being on his ship. Says he dosent like when its out in the ocean and u cant see any land. Hope all had a great Fathers Day to. Hope all the Sailors are doing good.

so, claysgirl...  will you change your name to "clayswife" !!  congrats and I hope you have a beautiful day for your wedding and that all goes well!!

Peggy... glad you made it home safe and sound!  sorry he is having trouble because of a certain few!   They pulled all of my saitors group liberty cards and her EPO badge because of a voluntary inspection that didn't go well earlier last week... hopefully they will get them back by the end of this week!

My Sailor will be touching down in California in less than 6 hours!!!!! His sister will be meeting him at the airport to drive him to base..his C school training starts tomorrow...so the rest of us will not see him until around the 25th...what a great b-day present that will be!!!

Just got back from visiting my son in Goose Creek! Good visit and bad visit. The pressure to succeed is really hard on them, and if there are Sailors who are jokers, the class gets punished. He is so ready to get away from some of those guys. He said the best part was that some of the ones from BC are NOT in GC, but some of the jokers from previous weeks that are now in his class are causing problems.

Aww thanks everyone!!! And I will definately tell them hi Mrs. shalamar, they ARE great people, I am so blessed!! Its so close now and absolutely no 'cold feet' guess that happens when you know theyre 'the one'.. I was just dropping in I couldnt remember if I told anyone but we'll be setting up house in Virginia! Maybe ill get to meet some of my east coast pals from here.. Ive already warned Clay .. I wanna travel around up there and see it all :))

Our son got his orders last week.  he will be heading to CL for FMTB .  He will be home July 18 and reprots to CL Aug 3.   We are leaving next Wed to go see him in SA.  LONG trip....22 hours drive time.  I can not wait to see him!
