Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks you Soccormom, you are so right. Nothing wears you out like a hospital. Whether you are the patient or visitor, either way it wears you out.

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a beautiful weekend like we are here in NC.:-) I wanted to thank everyone in this group who was praying for my mom. Her pneumonia is getting better and she got to come home from the hospital. We really appreciate your kind words, thought and prayers :-)

Ugh adrianmom I can send you a message with day by day what my sr did this past week for Hell Week. It may not be exact for her but it'll give you an idea. I hear Hell Week and cringe lol. And yes ladies if I have to be up all night Friday I vote we make it a party!!! Lol

soccermom & claysgirl.... IHOP was a suggestion, but I really like it!  We can eat and visit and then go to the Meet & Greet (if we want or not).  soccermom, how close is that IHOP to the Ramada Inn where M&G is?  We might want to create a map and post it as a PDF for our group(s).
