Well......On a lighter note.......We only have 19 days until PIR....YAY!!!

No letter, again today:(  but I'm so glad to know that ..No News is Good News!!!!

I am looking forward to meeting everyone........This group & I'm sure others we will get to know, as our sailor's go on to their first deployment, are like family:)

Quiltblue mentioned she might be at the IHOP around 5pm on Thursday before PIR......I will definitely try to make it.  I'm unsure about Ramada that evening but we will be at PIR bright & early ...so I will hopefully meet many of your there:))))

I totally agree! And if someone ever asks you a question about something you post or asks you to change something know its not to be mean (for example ive been asked probably 100 times about my username) its just coming from us realizing that keeping YOUR sailor safe means keeping MY sailor safe. We're all in it together :) that being said I think we need to make sure we're being respecttful when asking people to remove stuff. Not really in this group but in others ive noticed some people will harp about the littlest stuff lol- ugh

Yes--soccermom...your are right. Any one discussing names or 800 divisions should talk privately amongst themselves thru PM. Just go to the 'inbox' in the right hand corner of your screen to send a private message. ..:))

FYI.....I have removed several posts that were made because of security protocol....Please note:

Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security)
(Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips)
This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way.

I want everyone to feel free to post.........Just be careful so that we don't cause anyone harm. Thanks:)))))

If he's going to be a SEAL you need to be very careful as to what info you post (ie where hed be going ect.) But that seems like a lot of info for them to give him in Bootcamp, id write asking for clarification. And I receive all of my mail four days after its mailed so im not sure why in your situation your having a 2 week delay.. :/

Ladies:  Start asking about BattleStations dates for your SRs.  Post here and also on the BattleStations discussion group above (hit "View All' to see it).  We would like to get a schedule started. Thanks!  First group could be going on Thurs, 3/24.
