Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Omg guys I went shopping today for a PIR outfit lol and I ended up finding a SUPER cute shirt that says I heart sailors and in the heart was Popeye.. It was on sale for ten bucks!! So now I have an airport outfit!! Lol sorry im in such a good mood I had to share haha

On the self-addressed stamped large envelopes you may mail to your SRS to mail back all of their letters (little storage space for them there), please be sure to address in ALL CAPS  (nice and neat!) as that is how they have to write on their outgoing mail---if I remember correctly!!!.

2Girls4Navy... good idea, I sent mine a large ziploc bag so he could keep them tidy. I don't think he will have too much. He knows that he can throw the jokes away if he wants, but that the letters should be saved... well I hope he knows to keep them! No letter for me again either. Clay'sgirl, yes I got mine. Very interesting to know what they are doing!

Got a letter from my son today Ship11 Div117 he has been on bed rest had his widsom teeth pulled. Said as soon as he is off bed rest would call. He is counting the days down till we get to see him plus his girlfriend too.
