Hello Redmop 96. Welcome! My son left from Oxnard,CA took a flight from LAX. I received his box yesterday & today I received his address, no PIR info yet. I am guesstamating that they may grad on the 22nd. Do you have any info yet????

Are you planning to go to graduation? Looking forward to more people joining our group!
We got his box yesterday, the address we'd gotten last week from the local recruiter.  We are planning on going to graduation, thought maybe it would be the 15th, wish we'd get a letter and know for sure.  We are definitely planning on going.  I work every other weekend and am off the 15th/16th but also work with a great group of nurses and don't think I'll have too much trouble trading even though the 22nd is Easter.  Hopefully the letter comes soon! Will let you know.
My son is also on this ship. No PIR yet for him either.    Thinking it may be the 15th, according to others who flew out on the same day.
Well I guess we wait..........hopefully we get our letter soon so that we can start making plans.
Just received official letter, my son is on Ship 09, Division 138.  His PIR is April 15.  Anyone know what hotel they are staying at yet?  We are from Michigan.
Welcome aboard! I made reserations @ Ramada inn in Waukegan. I am from Cali.
Thanks for the quick reply.  We were thinking about the Ramada also.  Hopefully, we will see you there!
The have a meet & greet on Thursday @ the Ramada inn too. Another nice place is the Residence Inn Marriott. I actually booked both places, not sure which one I am staying in yet.

Did you get your flight taken care of? Flights are going up soon due to the fuel.
Flights from nor cal are already pretty high. We are staying at residence inn I in waukegan
We are only about 4 - 4 1/2 hours away, we will be driving.  Much closer than California.
