I am glad you found us here.  My son is staying in GL for A school.  Is yours?  If not where is he going next?

My younger son is going to go into the airforce.  I hope they have a group like this.  If not I am going to come back here and help others on what to expect.  There is so much support here to help each other through this time.

I also received a call from my SR monday and got a letter today.  She told me some of the things I read in her letter but in her letter she told me that they my be leaving for Pensacola at 0200 Sat.. Yikes,at least we have Friday Liberty til 9:00PM.  I can't  wait to see her and give her a big hug ( in private) and tell her how proud I am of her.

I miss my hubby!!  Im very proud of him and can't wait to see everyone, including him, march in!  Im so proud of this Division and can't wait to meet you all :)  Which Ramada is it and when and what time?

:)

My son is Ship 9 Division 134 and yes we are leaving for PIR 041411. Cant wait he has been doing well and YOU?

Less than two weeks now! His last letter said he has learned he needs to salute his brother-in-law. I should ask him if he realizes his grandfather is another one. He also said they had gotten their dress blues and they were "kind of neat". I'm so excited we get to see them march in like that. It will be an unforgettable experience for sure.

Has your SR said anything about when they will take off for Conn? I am not sure my husband understands how limited our time might be with him. I hope they have connected. It should be easier now that they know some other SR's with the same MOS.

Hi Everyone! Only nine days to go. I printed off the parking passes this morning. If I hadn't seen the posts I would have forgotten. I reread the form letter just to make sure I didn't forget anything. We received another letter yesterday asking for his contacts so I mailed those off with a small bottle of solution and a case. Hope it makes it without a problem. I guess they can wear them for graduation. Sounds like he doesn't like the Navy issue glasses. lol  Also received the ribbons I ordered. They're great!
We got a call Friday.  She has passed everything and is waiting for Battle Stations on Sunday night.  Today is Captians Cup. Each day she is getting closer to Graduation I cant wait.
The wait is finally over.  We have sailors.  Now we have to wait for Friday.  I won't make it to the meet and greet but I will see my SAILOR march in on Friday.  We are blessed to have such strong natured Sailors.  Congrats to all the moms and girlfriends of 134
Thank God! They made it! See you all Thursday at the meet n greet or Friday morning.
I have a daughter that is a Sailor HOORAY!!! She sounded good but said she was tired.  She fell asleep marching today! But is OK!
