It is so great to hear you all are getting letters. Time for the HaPpY dAnCe lol. For those on the East coast and further south Thursday seems to be the GREAT day for receiving letters so hang in there. Hopefully you will get one tomorrow.

I received my letter from my daught.  It made me laugh and then cry.  She didn't get the letters we sent last week so I hope she gets them Sunday.  I am so excited .  She seems to be doing good.  She has made us very proud of her I tell everyone around me about her.  I'm sure they are sick of hearing about her at work. But oh well

Candy-oh - our sons must have gone in together.  Did your son leave from Fort Lee near Petersburg?  If so, I may have a couple of shots with your son in them when they were leaving - also of the swearing in ceremony.  Were you there?  We're from Fredericksburg.

My husband intercepted the 1:30 am call on the 15th (technically the 16th).

I know....now I can't wait to get off work tomorrow, run home and check the mailbox.  Wonder if letter carriers carry mace for crazed moms....used to be for dogs!  I haven't talked to Daniel since 2/15 (technically 2/16) when the, "I'm here, all's well, I'll call in 3 weeks," call came in and woke me at 1:15 a.m.  I was so groggy that I hardly remember it.  My cell phone will be my new best friend for the next few days!!!

Aloha all,

I agree w/ Candy-oh! I'm dying to hear from my son as well. Haven't heard from my son since Feb 18th. He called that day and we spoke briefly.

I know what you mean Candy-oh! ..no letter yet for me either,,,, I'm on mail patrol now! Poor mailman, I know his schedule and i see him coming.... I'm usually barreling out of the house..... and he has this frightened look on his face like I'm going to run him over or something....lol  (sigh) gonna try to be patient for that long awaited 1st real letter and not to mention that call!
