AHHH....PIR will be cherished forever...my Dau is at A School situated. her roomy is someone from her DIV 922... very very nice !!!! San Antonio is beautiful.. Still in GL going to relax and spend the rest of the time with hubby.....going home tomorrow to AZ
Now that he is off to A school, I wanted to share a vid I made when my son swore in. The 2 guys in the pics with him are my dad (former Marine) and husband (former Navy), then the people he hugs at the end are his 4 siblings (my stepdaughter, 2 sons and my daughter)
If you can't find you son mamamary find the USO place at the airport. They were so helpful to us at O'Hare. My son left at 6:15 this a.m. for Virginia. We already received a call. Some of the guys were at the NEX having a good old time. They have freedom to do what they want. Phones, computers, walking around, etc. He even said that the beds are much better than bootcamp. So I would say that life is good for them now.
Humble - That is awesome, you are engaged! Congratulations!
I flew in at midway. It is south of Ohare. Take 294 s to Indiana and then exit 55 north to chicago and the exit to Cicero ave and turn right then turn left on 55th street and it brings you to the airport
Hope that helps
