This girl is going to hang out with us after PIR, so I guess if anyone would like to send a card to my address, then I can share the cards with her then. (If she would like them :) ) \ I did send a few girls that my daughter mentioned Easter cards and she was one of them, and since her Birthday is on Easter that worked out well.

What's kind of wild is that we are from Indiana, she is from TX, and my daughter found out that this girl is cousins with one of her best friends here in Indiana.

Katelyn's Mom (Ship 13 Div 153)... sorry to hear the bad news. I do not think it is a bad idea for others to send her birthday wishes. If you send me the address, I would love to send her a card and try to uplift her spirit. My email address is jroyce@cox.net

My daughter wrote me about a girl that is in her DIV that found out on her first phone call home that her best friend had died. She then recieved a letter from him last week. My daughter ask if I could do something to uplift her spirit. She said that her birthday is April 14th and ask if I could send her a birthday card. I ask some of my friends if they would be interested in also sending her one? Do you think that this would be weird? I had a friend tell me that it was. I really think that it would be neat to get a whole bunch of birthday cards on your birthday, even if you dont know the people that are sending them to you!
