My son is Ship 04 Division 161, has anybody heard if they will be grad and go? I still haven't received a letter from my son and it is really driving me crazy! I am trying to be patient, but it is so hard.

I made my reservation at the Ramada Inn! I can't wait. I wonder how much longer it will be until I get a letter from him? I hope it is soon.

They only receive mail on Sundays and can write on that day ONLY? Wow ! I had not heard that so that would explain why we, as a group, are not hearing much. So, I am guessing if they right this Sunday, then we should all have heard something by Wed or Thurs of next week ..... more waiting, more praying.

We received our first letter today too! It was great to hear from him, whata releif. His letter was very positive. He is in a performing div and seems excited about that. he said bc was like a really strict school with the most serious gym class you've ever seen. everything is about following instructions and he is glad that his dad beat that into him(not literally). my husband is big on listening and following directions. He makes our boys drop and do 25 push-ups if they get out of line or need an adjustment. They all have very strong shoulders. I'm surprised he doesn't have me doing them too. He was sick the first week, but is better now. That seems to be common in the beginning. They study alot and are getting ready for the Physical Screening Test. I guess that is happening this week, since this letter was written in week 1. He has made some friends. It was such a great letter, I can't wait for the next (or the call).

maybe he has no stamps to send a letter? I can't think of a reason why you haven't gotten a letter. You should fire the postman!

Sue - my son graduates on April 16th - he left on 2/18 and just got his first letter today. They can only write on Sundays and 2/28 was the first time my son was able to write so hopefully your son will be able to write this coming Sunday. They can only receive mail on Sunday as well so it may be next week before they get any. As of last Sunday when my son wrote he hadn't received any letters.

My son is Ship 13 Div 160 graduation date 4/16/10. I know that writing to him is important and I have already mailed 5 letters. He got there on 2/23. Does anyone know how long before they actually have time to write a letter and send one home? I want to hear from him so badly, just so I will know he is surviving. We've already made all our flight, hotel and car rental reservations for the graduation
